Project: Big Data Engineer
Location: Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL ( 3 days/ Week)
Job duration: 12 months CTH
The job holder leads the technical design, development, and documentation of cross-functional, multi-platform distributed application systems.
They analyze, defines, and documents requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, and interfaces with other systems.
S/he also ensures that expected application performance levels are achieved by coordinating, coding, testing, implementation, and documentation.
The job holder must have extensive knowledge of the company's total computing environment, including all key IT functions, interdependencies, and the business impact of future IT plans.
S/he must have prior lead experience selecting and implementing vendor-specific methodologies and previous consulting experience with structured methods.
I have to tell you that I have extensive experience with developing and supporting distributed applications is required.
The job holders must have broad experience with multi-platform development tools and toolkits.
Onboarding new software in the platform. The engineer will work to integrate tool with the enterprise client master.
Using SCALA, Apache Spark, Elastic, and Hadoop.
Must have SCALA. Java/SCALA required.
