The Clinical Supervisor is a vital role responsible for overseeing and supporting the clinical activities of a team of direct service staff. This role ensures that our day-to-day services are implemented in a clinically responsible and responsive manner, aligned with our mission. This is a 12-month hybrid position that includes a combination of remote work, school site visits, and in-office meetings.

Key Responsibilities

Supervision: You will support a caseload of approximately 25 dedicated professionals, providing both individual and group supervisions.

Documentation: You will support service delivery by monitoring and ensuring the timely completion of progress notes, incident reports, termination/discharge summaries, and the submission of all required documentation according to clinical protocols.

Collaboration: You will receive support and direction from our Chief Program Officer and actively participate in regularly scheduled Clinical and Program Team meetings.

Mobility: The role will require travel throughout the five boroughs, and you will be on call during the workday to provide support in emergency/crisis situations.

Coordination: You will align your 40-hour work week with the work/school hours of supervisees and regularly meet with the support team, including Community School Directors, Program Managers, to ensure that clinical services align with program goals and Counseling in Schools' mission.

Job Requirements

Licensure: You must be a licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New York.

Certification: Possess the credentials to certify clinical licensing of supervisees with the New York State Office of Professions.

Anti-Oppression: You must have a well-developed anti-oppressive lens and the ability to integrate restorative practices into clinical perspectives.

Clinical Expertise: Demonstrate a strong clinical framework in working with children and youth from early childhood through adolescence.

Mobility: Be willing to travel throughout New York City and its outer boroughs to different school sites.

Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively within and across teams and maintain confidentiality while setting appropriate boundaries.

Time Management: Possess strong time management skills, the ability to multitask, and adapt to changing priorities.

Compensation

Salary Range: $77,000 - $87,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
