The Independent Contractor (IC) Marketer manages City Wides independent contractor program by marketing City Wide to independent contractors. The IC Marketer works closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure we have contractors available to provide services when the sales team wins new contracts. The IC Marketer is also responsible for vetting and recommending contractors to the sales and ops teams. This person may also be responsible for other marketing, sales, and office-related activities.
Applicants must currently live in the Fort Myers area and must be bi-lingual Spanish/English.
Essential Functions:
Market City Wide to local independent contractors in the building maintenance industry. Manage all contractor marketing activities online postings, e-mail advertising, direct mail advertising, and social media activities to ensure a consistent flow of new Independent Contractor candidates. Conduct the initial vetting/screening of all prospective Independent Contractors. Ensure that independent contractors have all required documents before assigning them work in the building maintenance industry. Responsibility for ensuring that City Wide's contractor database and files are up to date and accurate at all times. Coordinate email campaigns targeted at independent contractors. Work with Sales and Operations teams to ensure that contractors are placed in jobs in a timely manner. Coordinate monthly IC payday and other events around IC payday. Other duties as assigned.Requirements
- Bilingual Spanish / English (Mandatory)
- Some familiarity with how to use social media for marketing
- A self-starter with attention to detail and good organizational and follow-up skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Prior marketing experience is not required but is a plus - we'll teach you everything you need to know!
