Channel Factory is looking for an experienced Billing/Collections specialist based in our Los Angeles office to be responsible for full-cycle billing and assist with collection activities for our entire organization. The Billing specialist will oversee all phases of the billing cycle from finalizing billable units to invoicing clients. This position will report to our Senior Accounting staff.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all phases of the billing cycle using Salesforce cloud-based software.
  • Enter billable units for each customer monthly.
  • Prepare invoices according to IAB and client billing guidelines.
  • Generate and send all monthly invoices.
  • Respond to inquiries and requests for invoices, reports, and adjustments.
  • Review new customer contracts for revenue recognition considerations.
  • Address all incoming Accounts Receivable department emails.
  • Follow up on collections from delinquent accounts.
  • Participate in monthly revenue close process.
  • Proactively recommend improvements to existing processes.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 3+ years of accounts receivable and/or billing experience in a related industry.
  • Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite or another major ERP a plus.
  • Strong communication skills internally and externally.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience working with large data sets.
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
  • Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
  • Data entry skills (10-key by touch).
