We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Billing and Collections Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of essential financial tasks, including billing, cash handling, and collections for multiple facilities. Your daily duties may involve preparing reports, billing both institutional and professional claims, and maintaining patient contact regarding outstanding account balances. Additionally, you will assist with basic computer system maintenance and patient account research.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required; college education is preferred.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in billing and insurance verifications is necessary.

Prior billing experience within a healthcare environment is a prerequisite, and experience in behavioral healthcare is preferred.
