The invoice operations representative position is responsible for performing processes required to generate accurate and timely bills for all customer segments. Key processes include invoice audit, developing and reviewing daily operational reporting, monitoring system status, communicating with bill delivery vendors, and resolving/validating bill presentment exceptions in SAP.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
• Navigate and research in an object-oriented data environment
• Execute variations of audit checklists against system outputs with 100% accuracy
• Develop understanding of invoice formats in order to quickly discover any anomalies and escalate accordingly.
• Escalate audit exceptions to appropriate business owners for resolution
• Conform to a strict daily deadline specific to each task
• Maintain billing timeliness and accuracy
• Ensure system invoice outputs conform to all internal SOX requirements, market rules, applicable laws, and are accurate from both an internal and customer perspective
• Perform other duties as assigned
Working Conditions:
• Open office environment.
• Some overtime required as special projects arise.
• Participation in business continuity plan execution required as needed
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related area from an accredited four-year university is strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of the utility and/or the deregulated energy or telecommunications industry.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

• Ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize work, and be very accurate

• Ability to maintain 100% accuracy
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
Physical Requirements:
• Occasionally requires lifting as appropriate to perform duties and responsibilities.
