We are currently seeking applications for a full time Bindery Operator / Die-Cutter to join our team.

This position is Full Time 1st Shift.  This position is within a commercial print / manufacturing facility

Job Description: To operate and function in the Bindery area of the company which includes operating small machinery, binding, packing, stacking, collating & other duties to ensure the final product matches within the customer specifications.

Responsibilities: Set-up & Operate small machinery: Folding, Cutting, Stitching, Reinforcing & Tabbing, Shrink-wrapping, Drilling, Packing boxes with product & lifting and moving objects that can weigh 50 lbs.  Read and review the job ticket to ensure accuracy when preparing to finish a job. Candidate must be able to work within a windows based computer program for job tracking, along with general housekeeping to maintain a clean work area.  This job description should not be considered an all-inclusive job responsibility statement. Qualifications/Skills: Must have general knowledge of Bindery finishing functions.

Must have experience in operating Bindery Equipment such as: Polar/ Mohr Computer Controlled Cutter, 22 x 30 Heidelberg SBGS Die Cutting Press, 26 x 40 Stahl Folder, Challenge Drilling Machines, Automatic Tabbing Laminator, Scott Reinforcing Machine – Fully Automatic, Bestronic Shrink Wrap System Morgana DigiFold Pro, Duplo 1060i Booklet System. Must be able to operate according to job specifications and operate machinery according to production needs. Must be able to lift, stand and operate equipment for assigned shift, read job tickets, use general math skills to calculate production numbers, be a team player & be available for occasional overtime

• High School Graduate

• Clean Driving Record

• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds

• Must have strong mechanical aptitude and ability in running, troubleshooting and quality control.

• Excellent interpersonal and cooperative skills a must

• Highly developed problem-solving abilities generating creative workable solutions and anticipating

issues
