This client is a German multinational Pharmaceutical and biotechnology company and one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world, headquartered in Leverkusen, and areas of business include pharmaceuticals; consumer healthcare products, agricultural chemicals, seeds and biotechnology products.
Job Title: Biochemist/Researcher Location: Chesterfield, MO, 63017 -
Candidates should have a strong background in recombinant protein production or similar experience. -
Experience with laboratory automation and data entry is preferred. -
The team is fast-paced, and timeline driven. -
Successful candidates are expected to have the ability to work in a team environment with strong written and oral communication skills. -
Responsibilities include: -
Expression of recombinant proteins using a variety of expression systems -
Protein purification and/or sample preparation of expressed protein as required -
Deliver results in a timely fashion -
Maintain proper records and documentation -
Manage inventory and perform lab management tasks such as placing orders with vendors Required skills and experience: -
Minimum of bachelor's degree in biology or Biochemistry. Master's degree preferred. -
Minimum of two years of relevant work experience. -
Hands on experience in the area of protein expression and purification -
Proficient with LIMS usage -
Demonstrated ability to work in a team-based environment -
