1. Oversee software development for Fulgent's DNA sequencing services, including tools for genetic data storage, DNA analysis, and lab R&D support. Collaborate with end-users for
customization and technical support.
2. Enhance the bioinformatics pipeline for processing NGS data, developing scripts and database infrastructure compliant with data management policies.
3. Design algorithms for Fulgent to detect genetic alterations, address false positives in pseudogenes, and apply statistical models to NGS analysis.
4. Collaborate with Fulgent scientists to analyze biological datasets, perform pattern analysis, and identify experimental biases. Results may be published in scientific journals or conferences.
5. Maintain lab records, stay updated with scientific publications, and contribute to the medical field through research papers, conferences, and data submissions to public databases like NCBI.
