Teachers On Demand, INC, a leading education staffing firm, is seeking community members passionate about education to join our team. This individual will provide education for children in primary school (K to 5) encouraging their artistic development, in art, science, and/or technology. As a member of this team, you will bring the desired climate to the safe and stimulating learning culture we have created to challenge our youth.

Teachers On Demand, INC specializes in placing Alternative Resident Educators in K-12 charter and private schools and districts, with specialty services.

Open Roles:

• Biology Teacher 11th and 12th Grade
• Science Instructional Aides (in-class tutors)

Temporary to Permanent Compensation (Daily)

• 4-year/Masters degree - $165.00 Daily
• 4-year/Masters/Specialist With Alternate Residential Certification - $180.00 Daily
• Professional Certification (any state) - $195.00 Daily
• Instructional Aides - $125.00 Daily.

Direct-hire

• 4-year/Masters degree - $38,710.00 yearly with health benefits
• 4-year/Masters With Alternate Residential Certification - $40,710.00 yearly with health benefits
• Professional Certification (any state) - $42,710.00 yearly with health benefits
• Instructional Aides - $30,000 yearly with health benefits

* All direct hire contracts are 12 months contracts and will pay out through the summer vacation months.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of each child.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment conducive to learning and exploration.
• Appropriate criminal record as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation and the Federal Bureau of Investigations
• Conduct ongoing assessments to evaluate each child's learning and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, needs, and accomplishments.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and progress reports for each child.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree (Must have)
• Valid teaching certificate or license (Nice-to-have)
• Knowledge of the Ohio Department of Education model curriculum and Ohios New Learning Standards
• Previous experience working with young students in a educational setting.
• Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education principles.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and other staff members.
• Ability to pass state and federal background checks.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Benefits

Temporary to Permanent Compensation (Daily)

• 4-year/Masters degree - $170.00
• 4-year/Masters With Alternate Residential Certification - $185.00
• Professional Certification (any state) - $195.00

* Temporary to Permanent is a maximum of 60-days term and then a permanent contract will be negotiate and issued.

Direct-hire / Permanent Placement

• 4-year/Masters degree - $38,710.00 yearly with health benefits
• 4-year/Masters With Residential Certification - $40,710.00 yearly with health benefits
• Professional Certification (any state) - $42,710.00 yearly with health benefits
