ROLE SUMMARY:

Blockchain Developer is responsible for maintaining a mix of skills in the areas of computer networking, cryptography, and algorithms and data structures. Gaining experience with Selfiecoin in its unique biometric offering using technologies such as, but not limited to the following: facial recognition, periocular recognition, labiocular recognition, voice, artificial intelligence [AI], machine learning, atomic clock and nano technology addressing consumer identity concerns and transparency of transactions made global. Selfiecoin operates from a centralized system unlike other coin offerings. Some open-source technology will be used, but a greater portion of the technology will be a creative and unique offering the digital currency space. Using blockchain with the Selfiecoin cryptocurrency to implement peer-to-peer(P2P), distribution services for transfers and payment transactions global. The Developer will help create its primary usage in a centralized database that are immutable, providing an environment that cannot be compromised or tampered with. Assist in ensuring proper application of commodity backing for Selfiecoin.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Research, design, develop and test blockchain technologies


• Brainstorm and help evaluate applications for new tools and technologies as they continually evolve


• Maintain and extend current client and server-side applications responsible for integration and business logic


• Assist in maintaining and extended improvement and development of the biometric platform for identify authentication


• Assist in integration of artificial intelligence use within processes and within the Selfiecoin wallet


• Show and have presence in the global blockchain community-work on implementing and integrating the latest improvement proposals


• Document new solutions as well as maintaining that of existing ones


• Ensure ISO 27001 standards are supported throughout the transaction process


• Collaborate with all company subsidiaries in integration and use of Selfiecoin as a payment transaction and money transfer method for global use


• Ensure proper integration of the use of commodity backing of the digital currency 


• Work with Chief of Staff (COS) to ensure all Securities and Exchanges laws and guidelines are being adhered to throughout the digital currency transactional process

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong software development background


• Experience working with large codebases


• Experience working with open-source projects


• Proficiency in one of the following languages: C++, Java, JavaScript, Crystal Programming, PHP{{Depending on the project requirements}}


• Strong knowledge of common algorithms and data structures


• Familiarity with basic cryptography


• Familiarity with P2P networks


• Strong knowledge of bitcoin-like blockchains


• Strong knowledge of concurrency and writing efficient and safe multithreaded code


• Strong knowledge of STL, C++11 {{In the case of blockchain based on C++}}


• Proficiency in the Qt Widgets model {{Applies to projects where a GUI wallet 


• application is needed}}


• Certified as a Blockchain Specialist is a plus


• Experience with Hyperledger is a plus


• BSc Computer Science or Math
