Board Certified Behavior Analyst Location: US-VA-Norfolk Email this job to a friend

Behavioral Health Services of Virginia is seeking a committed and accomplished Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our ABA care team and contribute to our mission. Your role as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst will entail creating and executing behavior plans, overseeing behavior technicians and staff, and performing evaluations to determine treatment requirements. Your primary objective will be to work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities - Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans
- Design and implement behavior programs
- Supervise behavior technicians and other staff
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Provide training to parents and caregivers on behavior management strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Requirements - Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a BCBA
- Strong knowledge of behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Ability to develop and implement behavior programs for a variety of populations
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
