Work Hard. But Work at the Lake! We are in search of an additional Boat Handler/Operations Assistant that has personal OR professional knowledge of trailering boats AND loading them on and off the trailer.



We have a fun and growing business located in the lakes! Knowledge of Lake Jocassee and Lake Keowee as well as a passion for boating, fishing and/or outdoor activities area big plus. We are extremely busy during the season and it can be hard work, but the right candidate will enjoy the interaction with friendly customers and working in a beautiful area. You are the face to our customer and excellent communication skills, outgoing personality, and a positive attitude are a must. Candidates absolutely must have demonstrated experience operating and trailering boats and be a punctual individual with proven ability to multi-task. General mechanical knowledge is helpful but not necessary.

Lake Jocassee is an amazing treasure for South Carolina and the lake and surrounding gorges were ranked as one of the top 50 places in the world in 2012 by National Geographic! We are Lake Jocassee's only marine facility and we also serve northern Lake Keowee.



General Responsibilities:

• Delivering and retrieving our fleet of rental and boat club boats, paddle sport vessels and storage customer boats when needed, including stocking boats with appropriate safety gear, water toys, etc.


• Boat cleaning.


•  General maintenance responsibilities around our 15-acre facility.


• Assisting techs when needed with various projects, lake calls, and customer requests.


• Boat trailering experience is necessary.


• Must have availability to work weekends.
