Harman Elite Construction Ltd., located at 7086 Jasper Dr, Vernon, BC V1H 1P2 is seeking to hire a Bookkeeper to join our team full-time. We are looking for a hard-working, experienced person to join our company soon.

Bookkeeping Duties to be performed:
Recording financial transactions and balancing the books.
Post journal entries, and Update and maintain the general ledger.
Reconciliation of entries into the accounting systems
Calculate and prepare cheques for payrolls and for utility, tax, and other bills.
Recording of debits and credits.
Create and send invoices and follow up to get them paid.
Make sure invoices from suppliers are accurate and paid in a timely manner.


Job Requirements:
A secondary School Completion Certificate is required.

Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field
Or
2 – 3 years experience in accounting.

Additional Skills:
Good interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with other employees.
Good data entry skills
Familiarity with the general principles of accounting

We are offering $25.50 hourly / 40 hours per week.

Location of work: Vernon and nearby sites
