Who You Are: Museum of Ice Cream is looking for a Brand Experience Manager with a marketing and sales background, to join the marketing team. We are seeking a person that is enthusiastic about spreading the joy of ice cream through our mission through sales and marketing channels with a strong industry knowledge in the location that they are based in (Austin). You will build a robust sales and marketing outreach to drive additional revenue streams for the museum(link removed) Along the way, you will take risks, learn, and optimize as you engage and build our following and influence. Your Day-to-Day: - Be responsible for all location based sales and marketing efforts.
- Manage creative initiatives and maintain brand standards and integrity.
- Be present and available for on-site and off-site private events
- Responsible to initiate preliminary conversations for private events in the museum
- Work closely with HQ marketing team to execute seasonal programmes and key activation with the operations team.
- Collaborate with all internal stakeholders by communicating and engaging all areas of the operation to support the guest experience including the operations, retail, F&B and production team.
- Attend weekly operational meetings on location
- Press outreach to micro influencers, localized guides, local publications, including overseeing and hosting press tours.
- Identify and execute marketing activations with opportunities to drive brand awareness and/or additional revenue to the museum
- Build a strong sales and outreach strategy and establish strategic partnerships with hotels, OTAs, regional tour operators or agencies schools, referral partners, corporations, event organizers, etc to drive additional streams of revenue
- Secure localized partnerships (i.e sampling events, etc) and/or sponsorships to drive additional revenue
- Build referral networks and expand sales channel
- Assists on photoshoots, filming and on-ground content production
- Build a strong sales and outreach strategy and establish strategic partnerships with hotels, OTAs, regional tour operators or agencies schools, referral partners, corporations, event organizers, etc to drive additional streams of revenue
- Build referral networks and expand sales channels
- Facilitate brand onboarding sessions for new employees communicating brand guidelines and brand vision
The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $70,000 USD. Requirements The Necessities and Nice-to-Haves: - Have +3 years of sales and marketing experience working in an attraction, entertainment, or hospitality related industry
- Knowledgeable in neighborhood and city nightlife, Restaurant, Bars, Museums, Art scene and cultural activities
- Have a clear understanding of brands and the marketing mix
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented and ability to work in a fast paced environment.
