Vector Corrosion Technologies (VCT) is looking for an ambitious, energetic, and experienced Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through forging strong relationships with clients.


Responsibilities

  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  • Educate the market in order to increase awareness of the Company and develop project opportunities.
  • Develop working relationships with key owners, consultants and contractors that are influential in key market segments and support them as a technical specialist.
  • Conduct research to identify and pursue new customers and new markets.
  • Promote the companys products/services including technical presentations to existing and prospective clients.
  • Support and foster Vectors safety program and behavior-based safety culture at all times.

Requirements

  • A formal education in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Chemical), Material Science, Marketing or Business, or a degree in a relevant field from an accredited university or college required
  • Relevant industry experience in: Construction sales, material sales, technical / specification selling to engineers, owners and contractors.
  • 5+ years of Business-to-Business sales required.
  • Knowledge and experience in selling long sales cycle projects.
  • Ability and willingness to Travel, 50%+/- but at times extensively as needed. This position will be responsible for covering our sales territory of ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, CT, NY, and New York City.
  • Must reside within the sales territory listed above.
  • Vector is a drug and alcohol-free workplace. Successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
