Who we're hiring

Reporting into our Head of Outbound Sales, you will be the first Business Development Representative team member, responsible for identifying potential customers, generating new business opportunities, and managing leads through to the sales pipeline. You will work closely with the sales team to ensure that our companys sales goals are met.

You are someone who defaults to action, with the flexibility and self awareness to change course to achieve your goals. You are curious, a life-long learner whos open to feedback and new ideas, and love experimenting with best practices you learn from peers and other sales professionals. Youre an empathetic, customer-first storyteller, putting yourself in your prospects shoes and clearly articulating the value of Zappi, specific to that person. You are a competitive team player and support your team when they need it. Winning together is just as exciting as winning as an individual!

What you'll be doing

  • Generate new business opportunities by prospecting outbound leads and nurturing inbound leads through highly effective, omnichannel, hyper personalized campaigns
  • Use outbound selling best practices to identify customer pain points while driving the value of our solution
  • Consistently learn and apply coaching related to sales strategy and processes
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, competition, and industry developments
  • Deeply research and map prospective accounts around organizational structure and people to identify ideal prospecting targets based on Zappi customer personas
  • Support a team environment of teamwork, openness, creativity, diversity, and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in Business Development or Inside Sales, with proven success in generating high-quality opportunities and driving revenue
  • Eagerness to research accounts, make calls, and drive hyper personalized outbound campaigns
  • Exceptional executive level email and phone communication skills
  • Ability to take the initiative to get things done and maintain a high level of organization
  • Technical expertise and ability to acquire knowledge of new products
  • Experience applying the MEDDIC discovery methodology
  • Experience using SFDC, Groove, Gong, Zoom Info, LinkedIn Navigator and other modern sales stack tools
  • ABS, Market Research, and Enterprise sales experience appreciated

  • Salary range $65,000 - $70,000 per annum depending on experience. Salaries are benchmarked annually.
