General Summary

As Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for growing the TrainHeroic Marketplace. Your day-to-day will include managing the sales pipeline, creatively researching and sourcing new prospects and opportunities, and facilitating the scheduling and conducting of meetings with customers. Additionally, youll be responsible for supporting customers directly and supporting the business development team with various administrative responsibilities.

You are passionate about finding the right coaches and for helping them achieve their desired outcomes by leveraging our software and services. Youre consistent and relentless in your approach, youre resourceful and curious, and youre a continuous learner with a hunger for knowledge. You are comfortable challenging the status-quo, creating and refining processes in a fast-paced environment. You value team members input from all levels and you actively seek ways to support your colleagues.

You will sit directly with the Business Development team, work in close collaboration with the Customer Support Team, and report to the Director of Business Development.

Core Functions

  • Strategize on building the sales pipeline.
  • Research qualified prospects using a consultative sales approach.
  • Engage with and develop new business prospects through cold outreach.
  • Build, manage, and maintain sales pipeline and sales activities in CRM
  • Create and nurture relationships with prospects and customers.
  • Practice empathetic persistence in your approach to communicate with, educate, and listen to prospective customers.
  • Manage scheduling and conferencing tools to communicate effectively.
  • Support the business development team with administrative tasks that support and accelerate sales.
  • Track company and individual performance and progress toward targets.

Requirements

  • Prior sales experience, preferably managing a sales pipeline in B2B SaaS.
  • Understanding of the strength and conditioning and fitness markets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to display a sense of urgency and priority within your work.
  • Excellent probing and listening skills with the ability to assess a prospects fit.
  • Previous experience balancing working independently with minimal supervision and working collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of TrainHeroic.
  • Coaching and/or training experience.
  • Understanding of the endurance market.

Compensation

Peaksware/TrainHeroic is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Colorado is $45,714 - $76,190. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.

This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment that is well-lighted, heated, and/or air-conditioned with adequate ventilation and a noise level that is usually moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets.
