BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE (BDR)



We are hiring one (1) BDR for each of the following counties: Bergen, Essex, Middlesex, Somerset and Union.





Our company has grown its business by building professional relationships with real-estate attorneys, loan officers and real-estate agents. Although the home buyer is the end user, these professionals are the source of ‘directed business’ and are essential to our continued success. The BDR will spend his/her time DEVELOPING and MAINTAINING BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS. This will include doing client visits, having lunch meetings, attending networking events, and showing appreciation.





ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:




  • DEVELOPS and MAINTAINS AGENCY RELATIONSHIPS with Brokers, Attorneys, Realtors and Lenders by corresponding via email, phone, and in-person visits.

  • Reviews client needs on a regular basis with emphasis on BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS.

  • DEVELOPS NEW BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES and relationships to increase referrals.

  • ATTENDS networking events, applies and participates in BNI, participates in trade/real-estate organizations.

  • Maintains a CONNECTION WITH THE OFFICE STAFF; attends monthly staff meetings.

  • May conduct occasional closings.

EDUCATION AND LICENSING REQUIREMENTS




  • College graduate (preferred).

  • Title Producer License (required within 30 days of hire).

  • Notary (preferred, not required)



The BDR is full-time, Monday through Friday, with some weeknights and weekends possible. After 90 days, the position includes 14 days (PTO) and 6 paid holiday annually (prorated from January 1).





$3,000 monthly draw plus commission; additional travel budget available after Title Producer Licensure.
