APM is actively looking to hire a motivated Business Operations Associate who will bring a passion for data, strong communication skills, and a high degree of accuracy to our rapidly changing organization.

The Business Operations team strives for 100% accuracy in data and parts processing, which requires a thorough understanding of our process and our context within APM, as well as an analytical approach to resolving data inaccuracies. The right candidate will be motivated, detail oriented, and can adapt to changing workflows and priorities.

  • Prepare and support data collection systems for field technicians ensuring access to information on job sites
  • Extract data to generate sales quotes and modern energy saving metrics for customers through a dynamic data pipeline
  • Create and revise survey and installation reports for customers based on field data collection to highlight the importance of steam system maintenance
  • Acquire and maintain working knowledge of steam systems and parts
  • Support key strategic and operational initiatives that will drive business forward
  • Seek input and provide daily support to the entire organization regarding maintenance, configurations, and improvements to our daily reporting and processes
  • Document, maintain and troubleshoot existing customizations, flows, and approval processes

Requirements

  • Experience collecting, handling, and analyzing data (internship or research experience included)
  • Passion for energy efficiency, engineering, and environmental impact
  • Interest and experience using technology to improve data collection, reporting pipeline, and automation
  • Exposure and willingness to work modern data management tools (Excel VBA, SQL, Python, R, etc.)
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM preferred
  • Strong organizational nature and attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Capability to shift priorities based on business needs
