Job Description

Job title:

The Business Portfolio Manager acts as the liaison between Business, Markets, CoEs and Functions to ensure harmonization of key Commercial, Portfolio, and Operational processes to maximize business efficiency and productivity. BPM manages Business portfolio, ensuring portfolio is productive, efficient, sufficient, aligned across B and M and tracked for performance across markets and key Strategic retailers.
The BPM leads portfolio-level corporate projects for the business, such as strategic portfolio management, pricing, bleeder management, quality norm management etc.



Your role:

Develop and manage relationships with key retailers and stakeholders to ensure the success of Trade/Shopper marketing programs.
Develop and implement Shopper/Marketing plans per key retail architype that align with the BU's overall marketing strategy and objectives.
Define a Business-specific framework for value-based pricing strategy and ensure adherence and harmonization.
Work closely with the Custodian of Commercial Policy and Sales CoE to ensure alignment of price setting across the Business Categories in alignment with market requirements and commercial pricing framework.
Support strategic customer deals from a global perspective, especially when they require new commercial models and/or subject matter expertise.
Work closely with the Business Categories and Sales CoE to develop a BU promo strategy per key retailers and an annual promo calendar that maximizes sales and drives shopper engagement.
Identify new opportunities to increase brand awareness and drive shopper engagement through Trade/Shopper marketing initiatives.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Region RBULs, Sales CoE, Marketing CoE, and Operations, to ensure seamless execution of Trade/Shopper marketing initiatives.


You're the right fit if:


Master/Bachelor degree with at least 10 years commercial (sales, retail, channel, pricing) experience.
Experience in Electrical, Fast Moving Consumer goods or (preferably) drug/food retail channel.
Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and modeling.
Ability to think and act strategically and demonstrate process understanding and operational excellence.
Experience of working between Business and the Market, including BMC way of working, customer collaboration and channel management.
Ability to influence and develop relationship across functional stakeholders and key decision makers.
