We have an opening for a full-time, permanent Onboarding Program Analyst to join our talented, dynamic team in support of a large Federal Government customer. The Business Process Analyst will play a pivotal role in our Data Loss Prevention (DLP) program for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). As a Business Process Analyst, you will help optimize operational efficiency, streamlining workflows, and ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for process improvement and a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Veterans are encouraged to apply.
DutiesIn this role, a typical day will include: - Collaborate with stakeholders to document, analyze, and map current business processes related to data protection, sensitivity tagging, and information security. Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and areas for improvement.
- Engage with project teams and stakeholders to elicit and document clear and comprehensive business requirements. Ensure that requirements are well-defined, traceable, and aligned with project objectives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement streamlined, efficient, and compliant business processes. Identify opportunities for automation and integration to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure that business processes align with organizational policies, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements related to data loss prevention and cybersecurity.
- Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including process flowcharts, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process improvement plans. Maintain accurate records of process changes and updates.
- Analyze data related to business processes to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimization. Use data-driven insights to make recommendations for process enhancements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years experience as a Business Process Analyst or similar role
- Familiarity with data loss prevention (DLP) and cybersecurity concepts is a plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy
