The Business Systems Analyst will have a solid understanding of business functional areas, business management issues, and data analysis. The BSA will contribute to the creation, development, and support of business application solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze business processes, workflows, and information to find ways to reduce inefficiency
  • Translate business requirements into application requirements
  • Write detailed specifications and work with developers for new applications, enhancements, queries, and reports
  • Create process flows & documentation for new and existing software systems where needed
  • Collaborate with all members of the team to execute applications successfully
  • Assist with implementation of new cross-functional solutions and monitor feedback on the use of business applications to identify enhancements
  • Testing, documenting, and troubleshooting new and existing systems automation applications
  • Performing post-implementation follow-ups to ensure user satisfaction
  • Establish and sustain relationships with business users and project teams
  • Learn additional software applications used and supported by the organization moving forward
  • Perform additional duties as requested.

Requirements

Bachelors degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in specialized training from a four-year college or technical school combined with a minimum of five years related experience; knowledge of home building industry relative to required information systems.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Project Management
  • Highly motivated, self starter
  • Experience with SharePoint a plus
  • Experience with Power Platform a plus
  • Experience with UI Path/RPA a plus
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • The ability to present ideas in business friendly and user-friendly language
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Must have strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills to analyze business problems and suggest and implement solutions
