• Our role in Global Services is to supply parts to customers and equipment all over the world for Imaging, Ultrasound, and Life care Solutions.

Role Summary/Purpose

• Functions as the planner/buyer for a portfolio of service parts and has direct impact on global customer fulfillment and inventory working with suppliers based in Americas.

Essential Responsibilities

• Overall ownership of material procurements and availability, using standard materials planning processes and tools
• Drive accountability and on-time delivery with suppliers, both internal and external
• Work with customer solutions to resolve backorders, expedite as necessary
• Maintain target stocking levels while meeting inventory targets
• Build and maintain strong linkages with inventory, finance, sourcing, logistics, warehouse op's, customer solutions and product life cycle
• Support new product introductions and engineering changes, while working to minimize obsolescence
• Mitigate and problem solve supply interruptions and risks

Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelors degree or 1 years of Supply Chain/Materials experience, preferably with a manufacturing company
• Buyer/Planner/Order Management experience or supplier-facing responsibilities
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
• Effective time management and organizational skills; detail oriented
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively over phone and e-mail
