Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of supplier delivery improvement plans for assigned factory and service center.
  • This includes leading supplier capacity planning and development, supplier performance monitoring and improvement planning and supporting supplier selection.
  • Lead proactive supplier capacity assessment and contingency planning by identifying risks at suppliers and executing plans to sustain capacity.
  • Proactively monitor supplier delivery performance and develop improvement strategies.
  • Analyze data to identify areas of improvement and provide objective evidence for root causes of late deliveries.
  • Partner with key business stakeholders to ensure sourced material and services meet the needs of the business, optimizing material availability with inventory and excess and obsolescence the risk.
  • Work with global cross-functional teams consisting or materials, engineering, quality and sourcing to solve critical delivery problems.
  • Serve as point of contact for supplier part shortage resolution at assigned factory and service center.
  • Negotiate and execute stocking agreements with suppliers.
  • Drive improvements in sourcing processes to enable improved performance.
  • Communicate timely, clearly and effectively across key stakeholders including Executives of the company.
  • Required Qualifications:

  • For roles in USA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • (Or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Sourcing, Material Management, or Supply Chain experience.)

    • Ability to influence others and lead project teams.
    • APICS certification.
    • Greenbelt certification.
