**Contract only

Location- Candidates can be remote, but candidates MUST be MN based and within 2 hours of ELR and CTC for data center ops

EKM team (4 team members) is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting and maintaining central key repositories across 4 environments and are responsible for role and identity-based access control to enterprise encryption systems and business applications keys.

EKM team (4 team members) is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting and maintaining central key repositories across 4 environments and are responsible for role and identity-based access control to enterprise encryption systems and business applications keys.

What does the ideal candidate background look like (ex: healthcare specific background, etc.)? We want to be as specific as possible with our firms so they can find the type of candidate you're looking for. 2+ year of security admin experience. At least a conceptional understanding of encryption.

Scripting and development background in technologies such as Shell, Python, Perl, Java
3 or more years experience in a technical leadership role for large IT integration projects or programs.
1 + years of hands on experience with OpenSSL integration with key management systems
Experience with AWS Key Management Systems and Azure Key Vault
Experience with transparent database encryption
Knowledge of encryption and cryptographic concepts

What experience will set candidates apart from one another? 5 + years' experience managing large highly complex security products and programs

What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? (Please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis)
Building, proving out concepts, and installing Encryption Key Management systems for all newly implemented environments within the enterprise
Ongoing operational optimization of the EKM key management platforms
Ensuring that the central key repository is well-protected from malicious attacks.
Assisting with the setup of HSMs for application teams (and providing ongoing support as needed)
Monitoring and reporting on systems and integrated applications
Educating/training helpdesk and other team members relative to the EKM platforms
Developing and maintaining disaster recovery plans for encryption key management platforms
Provide physical and technical support at the Data Centers for EKM and associate teams
Sharing in 24/7 on call rotational support

What skills/attributes are nice to have?
Scripting and development background in technologies such as Shell, Python, Perl, Java
3 or more years experience in a technical leadership role for large IT integration projects or programs.
