Selenium Developer

What Project/Projects will the candidate be working on while on assignment?

Continuing implementation of testing scripts for our (link removed) functionality including but not limited to Salesforce CPQ.

Is this person a sole contributor or part of a team?

This person will contribute day-to-day to a scrum team of 12 people, but work will be informed by and inform a wider team of about 60 people.

What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? (Please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis)

1. Write scripts in Selenium
2. Interact with points of contact and scrum team to understand the functionality for which they are writing scripts.
3. Develop a model for sustainability to make additional scripting as efficient as possible.
4. Assist in standing scripts up on a server.
5. Potential to explore scripts for a cloud-based MDM system called Reltio.


What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities?

1. Selenium scripting skills including Java.
2. Comfort level operating in an agile development environment.
3. Able to work independently for long stretches of time.

What skills/attributes are a must have?

1. Selenium scripting.
2. Able to work independently.

What skills/attributes are nice to have?
1. Comfort level in agile dev environment.


Where is the work to be performed? (Please list preferred Client facility, if other please specify i.e. remote work, rural, etc.)

Offshore. Bangalore.

What are the work hours? (ex. 9am-5pm, day/night shifts, rotating shifts, etc)

Flexible. Only requirement is that they be available for a daily call during the morning of CST.
