CAD Technician Seattle, WA Duration: 7 Month Contract SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED Design as specified a number of prototypes PCB from initial schematic. Work with engineering team to optimize the layout to meet requirements. Expert in Allegro Cadence / OrCAD proficiency Proficient (or better) in Mentor Xpedition (be able to transition designs to Xpedition) Experience in laying out RF and high speed signals Knowledge of: Impedance control / Power distribution layout / IPC standards (class II, Class III) / Stackups / Via types Nice to haves: Proficient in Altium designer Part librarian experience MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS Basic knowledge of electrical engineering Knowledge of PCB technology Knowledge of CAD tool such as Altium, Allegro or Xpedition PREFERRED SKILLS - Knowledge of controlled impedance calculation and best practices for RF layout.
