Woodhaven an adult substance use disorders treatment program has immediate openings for Counselor Assistants to join our team. In this role, you work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure clients are receiving the best care as the overcome the obstacles that have led to their addictions. As a Counselor Assistant, you will provide services in a group setting to our clients.

Woodhaven was founded 7 years ago to provide a safe place for individuals to recover. Divided into 3 phases, our program offers withdrawal management, residential living and then a partial hospitalization housing program. Individuals who complete our program leave free of all addictive substances. Woodhaven is proud to be one of the few programs offering this opportunity to those we treat and serve.

Many of our Counselor Assistants move into Counselor-in-Training roles. At the completion of our in-house program and the employee's education, the employee can be moved into a counselor role.

Requirements

Active CDCA in the State of Ohio

Must have a steady work history, above average attendance record, work well in group or autonomous settings and have a desire to work with individuals overcoming their addictions.

Benefits

Full time employees are eligible for benefits after 60 days of employment (benefits start on the 1st day of the month following 60 days) and PTO after 120 days of employment.
