Responsibilities:
Hazardous Material Transportation: Safely transport hazardous materials, including corrosive, explosive, flammable, and poisonous substances. These may include fertilizers, pesticides, or other farm-related chemicals.

Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols related to hazardous material transportation. Ensure proper handling, storage, and transportation of dangerous goods.

Loading and Unloading: Load and unload materials onto/from the truck, ensuring secure placement and proper handling of hazardous cargo.

Documentation: Complete shipping paperwork accurately, including hazardous material manifests, bills of lading, and other required documentation.

Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip inspections, monitor vehicle condition, and report any issues promptly. Maintain cleanliness and safety of the truck.

Route Planning: Plan efficient routes to deliver supplies to farms, agricultural sites, or distribution centers.

Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service during deliveries and pickups.

Qualifications:
Class A CDL: Possess a valid Class A Commercial Drivers License.

HAZMAT Endorsement: Obtain the H endorsement by passing the Hazmat knowledge test and completing a Federal Security Threat Assessment.

Experience: Prior experience as a CDL driver is beneficial.

Safety Conscious: Understand and follow safety guidelines for hazardous material handling.

Physical Stamina: Ability to load/unload materials and handle physically demanding tasks such as treating seeds and helping with basic warehouse work.

Attention to Detail: Accurate completion of paperwork and adherence to regulations.
