JOB DESCRIPTION



_SCHEDULE: PART-TIME 24 HOURS

The hours could be flexible, depending on the classroom hours

BUT IT WOULD BE DAYSHIFT

There may be an opportunity to work additional hours beyond the 24-hours, but it would be working on the unit and could be across all shifts

WE HAVE A  PART-TIME CNA INSTRUCTOR FOR OUR HOME IN SOUTH PARIS. THIS POSITION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE INSTRUCTION OF CNA STUDENTS IN THE EDUCATIONAL, SKILLS LAB, AND CLINICAL ARENAS.   THE CNA INSTRUCTOR WILL PROVIDE QUALITY EDUCATION FOR PROGRAM STUDENTS AND PERFORMING INSTRUCTIONAL-RELATED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CORE VALUES, MISSION, POLICIES AND PROCEDURES OF MAINE VETERANS ' HOMES.

_MINIMUM EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS_



     • ACTIVE RN LICENSE IN MAINE

       CNA Instructor Certification or willingness to obtain certification is REQUIRED

     • BA/BS Degree







_MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE_



     •   2 Years’ Experience

     •  Experience and/or training in instructional education, geriatrics, rehabilitation,
