we are currently hiring a Manual Machinist.

Pay- Commensurate to experience - Max $32.00 hr
Shift- 7am-3:30pm (must be available for nights and weekends if needed)
Experience- Must be able to operate manual Engine Lathes, VTLs, Knee Mills, and Radial Drills. Brand should not be a factor. if interested please email your resume to dguzman@enerstaffusa.com or text 281-282-1300 put Manual on subject.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate manual machines such as lathes, mills, and grinders to fabricate metal parts according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or other technical drawings to determine machining operations
- Perform precision measurements using tools such as bore gauges and coordinate measuring machines (CMM)
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production targets
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Proficient in manual machining techniques, including turning, milling, and grinding
- Knowledge of tooling selection and setup for different machining operations
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and practices
- Experience working with plastics injection molding is a plus
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls is preferred
