Job Description
Company is seeking a full time, CNC Machinist to operate Haas vertical machining centers to produce high quality precision parts. Wages, bonus, and benefits are competitive, hours of work are flexible, and overtime is encouraged.
Key Responsibilities Perform work per Company safety practices and standard operating procedures Interact with engineers and manufacturing personnel to deliver products that meet design and quality requirements Inspect work to ensure requirements are met, and complete required paperwork to account for production and quality activity Trouble-shoot and resolve manufacturing process issues Develop cost saving measures through the continuous improvement process (Kaizen) Maintain a clean and well organized work area Job Requirements - APPLICANT MUST PROVIDE PROOF OF US CITIZENSHIP***
- Hard working, reliable, and willing to work overtime
- Ability to measure parts using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools
- Basic shop math skills (i.e. convert between different units of measurement)
- Knowledge of G-code for proofing programs
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Good hands-on aptitude for mechanical systems
- Ability and willingness to learn, adapt quickly, and be cross trained in multiple areas
- Proficiency in MS Office including Word and Excel
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
Other Helpful Skills - Prior CNC machine or programming experience is preferred, but not required
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
