1st shift CNC Machinist Lathe - Akron, OH - JOB 440-24-00338

Salary Range: $25.00 - $30.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits

We are hiring an experienced CNC Lathe Operator for their growing 1st shift.

Responsibilities :
• Include editing, setting up, and operating the CNC machine
• Maintaining quality and safety standards, record-keeping, and equipment maintenance.
• The position offers competitive wages and benefits and is full-time permanent.
• Proficient in lathe abilities such as turning, boring, drilling, tapping, and threading.
• Maintain company and customer quality standards.
• Set up CNC machines with minimal assistance, installing tools and indicating parts.
• Load raw material and verify settings by measuring positions
• Perform equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Demonstrate constructive communication and problem-solving skills
• Adhere to safety guidelines and use proper tools and gauging
• Apply geometry and trigonometry knowledge to machining Complete machining work as required, following proper sequence of operations

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Five years of CNC lathe experience
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and follow instructions
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication, self-motivation, and teamwork
• Ability to lift/maneuver up to 50 lbs regularly.

Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
