JOB TITLE: MACHINE OPERATOR

LOCATION: 12605 OLD HICKORY BLVD STE 100 ANTIOCH, TN 37013

TERMS: FULL TIME / HOURLY

REPORTING TO: DEPARTMENT MANAGER

ABOUT THE ROLE: The machine operator is responsible for operating industrial CNC equipment to fabricate aluminum components for windows and doors following established procedures and instructions while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

RESPONSIBILITIES: - Set up and operate CNC machines to fabricate parts for aluminum windows

and doors.

- Operate machinery with efficiency.

- Follow established procedures and work instructions to ensure that parts

conform to specifications and blueprints.

- Monitor the machines performance and make necessary adjustments to

ensure quality standards are met.

- Perform routine maintenance on the equipment, reporting any issues to the

Supervisor.

- Adhere to safety regulations and procedures in the fabrication and factory.

- Collaborate with the team and supervisor to identify ways to improve the

fabrication process and increase efficiency.

- Assist with moving and organizing materials in and out of Fabrication

department.

- Manage organization of the Fabrication area.

- Load materials on and off of the machinery.

- Work on a timely consistent basis.

CANDIDATE

REQUIREMENTS - High school diploma or equivalent, trade school or vocational school

Certificate in machining is a plus.

- Strong critical thinking

- Self Starter

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.

- Good math skills and ability to use measuring tools.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential problems.

- Strong information retention

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Ability to lift heavy objects regularly 50 lbs.

- Ability to follow written and oral instructions

- Ability to follow safety regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

- Ability to read a tape measure

- Flexibility to work in different shirts, overtime and weekend if required.

Salary range $20.00 - $25.00 per hour DOE
