Our well-known client is seeking a CPA Tax Manager to join their CPA firm. The successful candidate will play an integral role in providing top-notch service to clients across the finance industry.

As a CPA Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing tax compliance and planning engagements for multiple clients. You will provide technical expertise and guidance to team members while managing and reviewing work products. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients and identifying areas for process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple tax engagements and clients to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, identifying areas for process improvement and providing guidance on tax-related matters
• Manage and review the work product of team members, providing technical expertise and guidance as needed
• Supervise and mentor team members, encouraging growth and development
• Research and consult on complex tax issues, providing recommendations and solutions to clients
• Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to applicable regulations and laws
• Participate in business development initiatives, cultivating relationships with potential and existing clients

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Active CPA license
• 5+ years of experience in tax compliance and planning, including experience with multi-state taxation
• Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong leadership and management experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with ProSystem fx Tax and CCH Axcess preferred
