SHIFT: Full- time Days & Nights (rotating weekends)

 

Job Summary

Assists inpatient treatment by monitoring, circulating and scrubbing under the direction of a Cardiologist and/or Physician's Assistant. Supports the department by ensuring the appropriate functioning of the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Labs, collecting and documenting information, and educating patients and their families.

Required Education

• Associates Degree in Science, Applied Science, Respiratory or Radiology

 Required License

• ACLS, RPT, or RT'; RCIS/RCES credentialed must obtain two years after employment begins.

 Preferred License

• Certification in Invasive Cardiology

 Required Experience

• Two years’ experience in an acute care setting and demonstrated experience in hemodynamic and cardiac monitoring

 Preferred Experience 

• Minimum of two years’ experience in an interventional Cardiac Cath Lab or EP Lab

• Must have radiology or cardiac cath lab experience


• On average 4 cases daily


• 1 in 3 call rotation


• Shared role, will support vascular surgery and Radiology


• No PEDS in the Cath lab


• The largest CV program for HCA, with brand new equipment since October


• Fast-paced facility


• Will consider candidates with strong experience radiology, cath labs, hybrid ORs or IR in an acute care setting


• Must have RCES certification but will consider RCIS certificate 


• Must be comfortable performing complex procedures with physicians


• Must be comfortable with invasive imaging technology and cath lab procedures


• NEW GRADS WILL BE CONSIDERED ONLY IF CANDIDATE WAS ENROLLED IN A PROGRAM WITH AN EP CONCENTRATION

Sign-on bonus available up to $5K with a 2-year commitment
