Café Manager

Job Description

Blenz Central City is hiring 1 Full Time and Permanent Café Manager.

Job Duties: -

• Make sure every guest is greeted with a smile, thanked for their business and invited to return;
• Execute systems daily to ensure a clean, organized environment, prepared to provide excellent product and service;
• Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance;
• Assist in providing Team Members with the appropriate training to provide outstanding quality, friendliness and cleanliness;
• Maintain high standards of service throughout the operational day;
• Demonstrate patience and a positive attitude with crew while delegating tasks and giving instructions;
• Set challenging goals for self and crew during shift and ensure accountability;
• Utilize all management tools to keep accurate and current records providing the historical data to plan for increased sales and profit;
• Recruit staff and oversee staff training;
• Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures.
• Address customers' complaints or concerns
• Provide customer service and negotiate arrangement with suppliers for food and other supplies
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed

Wage: $25.00/Hourly

Positions Available: 1

Terms of employment: Full-Time, Permanent

Skills requirements:

Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required.

Education:
• Completion of Secondary or its equivalent is required
• Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is an asset.
