Job Description

A local firm is seeking a Call Center Customer Service Representative who will be responsible for booking and scheduling a high percentage of customer requests for service work, replacement estimates, and routing vendor calls. Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Job Duties:
  • Answer phone, route to proper person, and book and Schedule a high percentage of service calls
  • Collect customer information and maintain to keep current
  • Communicate with dispatch on scheduling issues and schedule preventative maintenance
  • Prepare and enter data into management information systems and complete Service Tickets as required
  • Renewal of Partnership Plans and record keeping
  • Purchase and maintain proper levels of office supplies
  • Keep work area organized and tidy and backup dispatcher
  • Work with dispatch and others to implement new policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as needed
Job Requirements

Job Qualifications:
  • Must have strong customer service experience; Call center experience is preferred, but not required
  • Must have the ability to read and follow and continually utilize established company scripts
  • Must understand and communicate in a professional manner with emotional customers or service technicians, along with the attitudes, needs, and desires of repeat customers and service contract customers
  • Must be able to understand each service technician's technical, as well as their customer relations, and qualities
  • Must have effective communication, interpersonal, time management, and problem solving skills
  • Must be a reliable and level-headed team player
  • Must have the ability to follow directions, pay attention to detail, and manage multiple tasks at the same time
