- Responds to incoming calls from customers regarding animal activities and licensing.
- Listens carefully and speaks clearly, providing information and assistance.
- Performs data entry into Chameleon, updating information regarding animals or persons.
- Process and track license applications, renewals, and exceptions for dog licensing.
- Researches and follows-up on billing notice copies, past due notices, and final notices for animal licensing.
- Creates dispatch activities for the Field Team in a timely manner to ensure we safely serve the community.
- Creates bite and rabies exposure reports, detailing the information received from the caller in the database and following up as necessary.
- Tracks and logs information for Public Health epidemiology and the State Laboratory regarding rabies exposure.
- Opens, sorts, and distributes incoming / outgoing mail.

Skills Preferred - Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Three (3) or more years of clerical / administrative experience
- Experience with data entry
- Experience with automated data processing
- Experience with financial balancing
Experience Required - Two (2) years of clerical / administrative experience, including one (1) year of call-center experience.
