Your role:
As Capability Expert, you will function as Product Owner and Domain Expert, in the PLM program. In co-creation with the businesses, you define supporting features. Then, in close collaboration with the IT organization, you make sure that these are implemented on the Product Lifecycle Management platform (PTC Windchill), and that the integrations with other tools supporting among others Model Based System Engineering (Cameo), Requirement-, Test-, Risk- management (JamaConnect) and ERP (SAP) are realized to ensure an E2E data flow. This is all part of the integrated solution to ultimately accelerate product improvement, reduce rework, improve the data quality of Engineering deliverables, and continuously optimize the process.
In this role you can play a central role in further maturing Philips R&D and other functions in the innovation domain into a data-driven organization by optimizing the digital thread for product design, with Information Management as the guiding principle.
You will be part of the Innovation Applications & Information Mgnt. team in the central Philips I&S organization. The IA&IM team consists of Capability Experts of different nationalities. You work closely with 2 other Product owners for PTC Windchill and the Capability Experts with responsibility in the Requirement-, Test-, Risk-management domain, MBSE and Information Management.
We work hybrid, with office locations in Eindhoven at the High Tech Campus and in Bangalore, (link removed) the team there are opportunities to develop yourself in the different areas that are supported by the team, grow to a next position and of course, being part of Philips, you can make use of all the development opportunities offered by central functions or later move on into a business organization.

You're the right fit if you have:

More than 12 years of experience with related processes and tooling in a product development environment e.g. PLM tools, requirements management, and system design tooling. Preferably you have affinity for adjacent process areas too, for example Supply Chain processes, Sales processes and experience with tools e.g. SAP, in global regulated companies.
Conceptual thinking, the ability to translate concepts in practical implementations, together with strong influencing skills, being an authority in this field, and having experience in running teams and PLM implementation projects.
Strong communication skills which enable you to be able to work with all levels of the organization in an influencing role.
A masters degree or Ph.D. in Science or Engineering and mastering the English language both written and verbal
Good understanding of FDA regulations
