Captive Associate
position in our
Bermuda
office.


What can you expect?

The Captive Associate is responsible for the daily insurance, reinsurance and claims administration of a portfolio of MMS clients, consisting primarily of but not limited to captive insurance entities. Working in conjunction with the allocated Insurance Manager for each client, this professional role acts as a point of contact on insurance related issues and matters to ensure the delivery of high-quality service to clients, whilst providing insurance support to MMS team colleagues.

We will count on you to:


Supports the Insurance team as requested in a timely manner

Issues (re)insurance contracts, policy wordings, endorsements and associated invoices

Records and monitors claims processing and resolution, reviews claims reports

Provides input and supports the Client Executive as requested

Establishes and maintains good working relationships with clients, prospects, (Re)insurers, client teams, and colleagues

Coordinates AGM, board and other meetings alongside the Account teams and Insurance team

Monitors developments in the insurance, reinsurance, and captive marketplace

Requests information required for renewals and processes renewals

Collects and maintains reinsurance documentation

Manages databases on an efficient and accurate basis

Assists the Account teams and Insurance team with analysis, meeting deadlines, and client renewals

Performs other job-related duties as required


What you need to have:


Motivated self-starter, able to work with moderate supervision and with a keen appreciation for the importance of quality service to our clients

Highly organized with an acute attention to detail

Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite


What makes you stand out?


A university degree focusing on insurance, business or accounting

An insurance certification

Ability to co-ordinate client meetings

Ability to manage own workload as well as work as part of a team must be able to work well under pressure

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and to multitask
