As a Cheer Home Care Aide, you will provide non-medical home care services to the elderly and disabled, with a focus on companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation services, to enable our clients to continue living comfortably at home.

We are hiring immediately for the following position:

Caregiver, 12p-8p, M/T/Th/F/Sat, Looking for staff interested in full time schedule 5 days/week or 2-3 consecutive days.

In this position you will be working with a lovely client in their La Mesa area home. Parkinsons experience preferred but will train staff with relevant experience. Must love cooking, gardening, exercise and outings. Light physical assistance required. Caregivers are treated with respect in this friendly household, sense of humor welcome.

Car Friendly home, Driver Required.

As a Cheer Home Care Aide, your personality and skills will bring a better quality of life to seniors and adults with disabilities. Your duties on a typical day may include the following:

• Promoting client independence and wellness
• Providing personal care (bathing, toileting, medication reminders)
• Providing transportation to a doctor's appointment
• Shopping with or for a client
• Accompanying a client to a museum or community event

Requirements

Requirements:

• Cell phone with internet access
• Strong organizational & communication skills
• Do you have a valid Driver's License and are you willing to drive with a client in the car?
• Certifications that are preferred but NOT required: CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED
