About the Role

We are looking for a Carrier Auditor to join us on our journey to facilitate a digital revolution in the B2B supply chain. The Carrier Auditor assists with the companys efforts to provide industry-leading compliant and safe carriers.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understands the aspects of safety standard regulations associated with the FMCSA/CVSA
  • Maintain knowledge of the following:
    • International Registration Plans (IRP)
    • International Fuel Tax Association (IFTA)
    • State Weight Distance Tax (WDT)
    • Highway Use Tax (HUT)
  • Establishes clear communication with broker carriers with scheduled BCA audits to evaluate carrier performance
  • Follows proactive audit schedules accordingly to fulfil multiple audits in a timely manner
  • Recognizes the importance of HSE/DOT regarding contractors and knows how to intervene to stop work
  • Knowledge of data entry with emphasis on broker carriers across company internal systems
  • Works with internal driver support, in field services, third party vendors regarding broker contractor concerns.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Good working knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations
  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency in all projects and an ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as necessary.
  • Ability to multi-task projects and required tasks in an organized fashion
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as self-motivated in individual projects
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and written to all levels of the organization

Educational/Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years Motor Carrier regulatory Safety and Compliance or related experience and/or training

Compensation: $60-70K
