EIA provides services in the states of Arizona, New Mexico, West Texas, and Southern Utah.
We are currently seeking a casualty adjuster with a minimum of five (5) years of commercial claims experience with an Insurance Carrier, TPA, or Independent Adjusting Company.
Previous experience with captioned reporting, field investigations, time & expense billing, and web-based claims management software required.
Redacted work-product samples will be requested so that we may evaluate your writing skills.
Job Requirements:
Under the general guidance of a Claims Supervisor or Claims Manager, the adjuster, within a specified geographical territory, shall be able to demonstrate the ability to conduct multi-line casualty claim investigations in accordance with client instructions. The adjuster shall be self-motivated and disciplined.
The adjuster must have active knowledge of jurisdictionally required Fair Claims Practices. Field Investigations require timely scene investigations, Cold-Call Canvassing for witnesses, Police/Fire Report collection, as well as the collection/preservation of claim-related evidence. Must possess the knowledge and expertise to conduct detailed telephone and in-person recorded, signed, or video statements. The adjuster must be able to identify coverage questions, provide recommendations, and an accurate analysis of all issues in exceptional written detail. Must also be able to review, evaluate, provide detailed analysis of damages with settlement range recommendations to the client as well as negotiate first and third-party claims within the authority provided. Exceptional writing, verbal communication skills, and associated professional demeanor required. Ability to follow company policies and procedures regarding investigation, analysis presentation and captioned report formatting required.

This is an On Call position requiring 24/7 availability to respond to After-Hour Emergency Dispatch assignments. Casualty claim assignments include, but are not limited to: Construction Defect Commercial Auto Liability Commercial General Liability DRAM Shop/Liquor Liabilty Product Liability Professional Liability (E&O)

EIA works in an Apple environment exclusively. All candidates must be computer literate, and be experienced with iWork (Pages, Numbers, Keynote).
As these are work-from-home positions, we require the candidate to demonstrate a strong organizational skill-set as well as having the ability to operate independently while simultaneously creating exceptional customer satisfaction through the deliverance of the highest quality claim service.
Adjuster must supply a copy of their Independent Multi-Line Adjuster License for this position.
E&O Coverage is provided by EIA to its adjusters.
Compensation shall be commensurate with talent and experience.
