The Break fix tiger team is a 2-man team assigned in the market to:

• Perform services received as trouble tickets from the NOC or client technicians.


• Perform services which may include repairs, upgrades or installation of systems, equipment, components, peripheral equipment, networking or software.

The Break Fix Tiger Team will reside in the market.

Qualifications:

Both members of the team require good, well rounded cellular technician knowledge on:

• Cellular Antennas


• Transmission lines both coax and fiber


• Radio subsystems


• Radio Access Network, RAN, subsystems


• Basic cell site power installation, grounding, testing, maintenance and deinstallation


• Jumper installation, color coding, water proofing and testing


• Proficiency in the use of test equipment and tools for:

  • E911 call test
  
  
  • Isolation of radio alarms to component level and resolution
  
  
  • Basic power maintenance and replacement of parts
  
  
  • Antenna add/removal and RET configuration
  
  
  • Use of the Aniritsu Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Power meter, TDM and splicing machine
  
  
  • Passive Intermodulation testing or PIM
  
  
  • Use of a laptop, Digital Camera to record and transmit site status
  
  
  • Checking site impedance testing
