We are hiring for an experienced Home Inspector who will help people determine the state of their home. The ideal Home Inspector will be personable, with excellent communication skills and a background in home construction and inspection. The right candidate will employ their expertise to make crucial home inspection recommendations.
Home Inspector's Primary Objectives:
Provide detailed information through written and verbal communication regarding the findings of the inspection
Ensure the client receives unbiased yet neutral feedback regarding findings.
Build trust with clients and real estate agents using a calm demeanor, consistency, honesty, thoroughness, and communication
Produce consistent services, both written and verbal
Communicate value to clients regarding additional services that are provided
Communicate as a team player within the organization regarding opportunities of improving service, value, and product offerings
Regular Work Activities:
Perform residential home inspections
Perform termite inspections
Perform add-on services inspections: mold, thermal, and sewer cameras
Attend ongoing training in-house and field
Produce training materials within training meetings within teams
Role-play training
Requirements
Qualifications:
Florida state license is required.
Great people skills with good written and verbal communication skills.
Must have computer skills and the ability to learn technology quickly.
Must have clean, excellent driving record.
Self-motivated and self-managed.
Acute attention to detail.
Basic familiarity with residential construction.
Ability to move up and down ladders.
Ability to enter attics and crawlspaces and ability to carry 75+ pounds.
Ability to work in all weather conditions as well as in unconditioned buildings.
Ability to pass a criminal background pre-employment screening
