Highlights:

Position Title: Certified Nurse Aide

Location: Lawton, OK 73501

Duration: Upto 1 Year

Work Schedule: Minimum 36 hours a week. Day, Evening and Night Shift

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Perform direct nursing tasks including taking vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living and hygiene needs, and obtaining certain lab specimens
• Chart observations and activities, reporting pertinent changes in the patient's condition
• Perform delegated or other specialized functions as educationally prepared
• Escort patients to and from various destinations
• Assist in maintaining and providing a clean, safe environment
• Handle orders, receive and store supplies and perform basic clerical functions
• Participate in follow-up activities and tracking clients, schedule appointments, and perform other related tasks.
• Provide case findings and recruitment of at-risk person for comprehensive health services

To be considered for this position, you should have:

• At least 3 years of experience in providing patient care
• Good standing by the Oklahoma Department of Health as a (CNA) Certified Nursing Aide by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.
• Proficiently communicate, both orally and in writing, of public health services available to the community, of record keeping, of the techniques of interviewing, medical terminology, and planning and organizing work assignments.
• Understand basic needs of nursing practices and techniques.
• Understand basic methods of sanitation and personal hygiene.
• CNA License
• BLS
