Touchstone Health is a full service Home Health and Hospice Agency that provides a broad range of services to its customers. We are currently seeking a qualified and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our Team in San Antonio.
What are the responsibilities and duties of our COTAs?
- Working directly with the patients to create trusting relationships
- Providing rehabilitation for patients suffering from various diagnoses affecting ADLs
- Assisting patients with the therapy plan of care created by an Occupational Therapist
- Helping patients develop, recover, and improve ADLs
Requirements
What are the skills & educational requirements for this role?
- Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from an institution accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association
- State of Texas-Occupational Therapy Examiners
- One year of experience preferred
- Reliable, insured transportation & a valid driver's license
