We have a client seeking a (CST) Certified Surgical Technologist to work short-term in Appleton, WI for 4 months(link removed)>
Shift:0630-1500 (Call may be required)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 3 years of surgical tech experience needed
Diploma from an accredited school/college
Active/Unencumbered Certification as a Surgical Technologist
Must be competent to first scrub open heart procedures.
Must be BLS Certified (AHA)
Must be ok with floating between 3 of client facilities
PREFERRED:
TAVR experience preferred;
Roles & Responsibilities
- Preparing sterile operating rooms for surgeries.
- Sterilizing equipment and instruments.
- Stocking adequate supplies for surgery.
- Preparing patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites.
- Providing support during surgery by passing instruments and other supplies.
- Tracking surgical supplies.
- Staying up-to-date on surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedures.
- Working well with surgeons, surgical assistant, nurses and general surgical team.
- Helping provide great patient care.
